Communication using telephone modem and ISDN-adapters

Up to eight ID-90 ISDN-adapters can be addressed on the same ISDN connection bus. The above example makes use of this feature in a point of sales application using the ISDN D-channel for transaction validation. The D-channel is very well suited for low data volume connection where the time to connect must be short (approx. 1 sec) and the traffic cost has to be low.

In applications where both analogue modems eg. TD-32 and ISDN-adapters have to be used to connect to a location with only an ISDN network the ID-90 V.90 has been developed.
