In
the field of industrial communication,
Westermo offers an impressive and
flexible product range for different
applications. For simple Ethernet
communication, we used standard Ethernet
cables and fiber optics with the
SDW-500, a pair of twisted wire (barbwire)
with the DDW-100 or even wireless
thanks to the new RM-90 and RM-240.
On the other hand, having access
to a phone line, we were able to
communicate over Modbus using Westermo
TD-33 modems. At Rotalec’s communication
seminar in Quebec City in February,
we once again demonstrated the remarkable
potential of the Westermo products.
