The Profibus units are available in MD-63 (point to point), LD-63
(multidrop) and LD-64 (redundant ring) versions. These Profibus
devices have a 9-pin D-sub connector that follows the Profibus
standard making it possible to connect an ordinary Profibus cable
directly to the units. The fibre optic cable is completely immune
to external interference, which makes it ideal for harsh industrial
environments. The Profibus units can handle all Profibus DP/FMS
standard transmission rates up to 1.5 Mbit/s and are available
in both multi- and single mode versions. |
