SD-300 series of industrial switches can
be used in a number of different applications.
The SD- 330 three port 10/100mbit/s TX switch
can be used to provide very simple connections
in a standalone panel between a PLC and HMI
for instance while leaving a free port to
connect to a laptop for programming. The
3 port TX model also provides total galvanic
isolation between the screen connections
hence isolating equipment potentially up
to 200 metres apart.
The SD-321 model with one fibre optic
port is ideal if a star network is required,
up to 8 of theses can be connected to
a Westermo U-208-F8-MM FastSwitch, providing
2 copper TX connections at each remote
site.
The SD-312 model with the two fibre
optic ports is ideal for creating bus
structures or to be used as a repeater
in a network. As the SD312 is a switch
there is really no limit to the number
of drop points as packets are regenerated
and checked by each switch. |
